Website SSL Certificate:
It is our top priority at Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd to secure your data on our website www.yfl-hk.com For this reason, we have chosen to install a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). The SSL certificate is the most widely deployed security protocol used today. It is essentially a protocol that provides a secure channel between two machines operating over the Internet or an internal network.
SSL is installed on our web server; it activates the padlock and the https protocol and allows secure connections from a web server to a browser. Typically, SSL is used to secure credit card transactions, data transfer, and logins, and more recently is becoming the norm when securing browsing of social media sites. SSL Certificates activate the padlock and the https protocol (over port 443) and allows secure connections from a web server to a browser.
This is important because the information you send on the Internet is passed from computer to computer to get to the destination server. Any computer in between you and the server can see your credit card numbers, usernames and passwords, and other sensitive information if it is not encrypted with an SSL certificate.
