CODES OF CONDUCT
These codes of conduct outline the expected behavior and standards for all players, coaches, officials, and spectators participating in YFLHK. The goal is to promote a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
Player Code of Conduct

Play by the rules of the game at all times.

Avoid excessive physical play or dangerous behavior.

Do not intentionally harm or try to injure other players.

Respect the authority of the referee and linesmen.

Cooperate with coaches and teammates.

Be a team player.
-
Partake in no acts of Foul play.

Care and protect all facilities & equipment.
-
Show respect for all players, coaches, officials, and spectators.

Demonstrate good sportsmanship before, during, and after games.

Accept the decisions of officials without argument or dissent.

Refrain from taunting, trash talking, or using abusive or profane language.

Congratulate opponents and thank officials and opponents after the game.
Coaches Code of Conduct

Lead by example and model positive sportsmanship.

Treat players, officials, and opponents with respect.
-
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to players.
-
Make substitutions and tactical decisions with the best interests of the team in mind.

Remain calm and professional, even in the face of adversity.

Care and protect all facilities & equipment.
Spectator Code of Conduct

Cheer positively and encourage all players.
-
Refrain from making derogatory comments about players, coaches, or officials.

Respect the game and do not interfere with play.

Follow the instructions of league officials and game marshals.

Set a good example for players and other spectators.

Care and protect all facilities & equipment.
Code of conduct Violations
Violations of these codes of conduct may result in the following consequences:

Warning or reprimand.

Suspension from one or more games.
-
Expulsion from the league.
-
Referral to governing soccer authorities.
The league administrators reserve the right to enforce this code of conduct and impose appropriate sanctions as necessary to maintain a positive and safe environment.
