  • No Refunds on Disciplinary Grounds: No refunds or compensation will be issued to any club or individual expelled or suspended from the league.

2. Liability, Health & Player Safety

  • Voluntary Assumption of Risk: Registration and participation in all games, tournaments, and events organized by Youth Football League Hong Kong are strictly voluntary and undertaken at your club's own risk.

  • Club Responsibility for Fitness & Medical Fitness:

    • The registering club takes full responsibility for ensuring that all participating players are physically fit and capable of engaging in competitive football.

    • The club warrants that players do not suffer from any undisclosed severe medical conditions (including, but not limited to, unmanaged cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled seizures, or severe breathing difficulties) that make participation unsafe.

    • Clubs must obtain explicit parental/guardian medical clearance and emergency consent for all minor players prior to matchday participation.

3. Weather, Safety & Cancellation Policy

All matches, tournaments, and events will be automatically cancelled if the Hong Kong Observatory issues any of the following signals 2 hours prior to kick-off:

  • Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above

  • Black Rainstorm Warning Signal

Note on Discretionary Weather Cancellations: Cancellations due to Amber/Red Rainstorm warnings, extreme heat advisories, or unplayable pitch conditions remain at the sole discretion of the Youth Football League Hong Kong. No refunds, credits, or financial compensations will be provided for fixtures cancelled due to adverse weather or safety advisories.

4. Health Outbreaks, Political Disruptions & Force Majeure

In the event that government restrictions, public health directives (e.g., severe influenza or epidemic outbreaks), venue closures, severe weather events, or public order disturbances prevent the safe operation of fixtures, affected matches may be postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled. Youth Football League Hong Kong operates a strict no-refund policy for fixtures missed or cancelled due to events beyond its reasonable control (Force Majeure).
